The objectives of the Society is to carry on the business of marketing, storing, handling, transporting and processing agricultural produce, including horticultural produce, medicinal produce, floral vegetable produce, forest produce and allied agricultural produce, manure, chemical fertilizers, Organic Fertilizers, Organic and Composted Manures, Seeds, Pesticides and Plant Protection Medicines (Pesticides) Agricultural Chemicals, Agricultural Inputs, Agricultural Machines, Irrigation Equipment’s, All types of goods and commodities used in agriculture, Bags, Packing Goods, Farmers and general public goods, consumer goods marketing, supply, distribution, warehousing, handling, transport business, manufacture, expansion, development and business of warehouses under warehousing, Agricultural allied or agricultural utility, traditional and intra-state, inter-state, import-export business, distributor wholesaler, representative and agent business, cooperation in agriculture and rural development, assistance in cooperative marketing, assistance in technological development in agriculture; to undertake such other activities which are conducive and incidental thereto and to promote the economic interest of its members by conducting its affairs in professional, democratic and autonomous manner through self-help and mutual co-operation.

To develop technology and to improve the economic condition of its members by initiating activities relevant to them, to execute their activities on the basis of professional, democratic, and autonomy through volunteerism and mutual cooperation. For the fulfillment of these objectives, activities are being done by society.

AGRICO was formed with a count of 100 individual members and 2 cooperative societies and now it increases to the no. of 3000 members and cooperative societies.

The man behind the tremendous success of AGRICO is Mr. Mangilal Danga who has more than 40 years of experience in the agriculture and cooperative sector. He is the man who took initiative and responsibility of starting Indian Agriculture Marketing Cooperative Limited (AGRICO) and become the Chairman. He has been actively participating in political activities since 1998 and has given his valuable time and contribution for the benefit and upliftment of farmers and rural development by creating cooperative societies and becoming the member of the Draft Committee of Rajasthan Co-Operative Society Act 2001. Apart from this, Mr.Danga has also served as an MLA from Merta and hold the key positions in top National and State level cooperative organizations like KRIBHCO, NCUI, RAJFED, Kishan International Trading Dubai (UAE), Rajasthan State Co-operative Bank Ltd. Jaipur (Apex Bank) and currently holding key positions in Indian Farmers Fertilizers Cooperative Limited (IFFCO), National Agricultural Cooperative Marketing Federation of India Ltd. (NAFED).

His expansion cross the boundaries of India and spread his legs outside the Nation by entering into the world of Export. Meet our CEO/Managing Director Mr. Anil Danga, an eminent cooperator who has been deeply involved in providing strength to the Indian Agriculture Cooperative Society since last three decades and having an experience in the field of Retail and Wholesale business of Agriculture.

Agricultural Inputs Business: –

‘Agrico’ has been established to protect the interest of farmers. To make available good quality agricultural inputs to the farmers at reasonable rates and at the right time.

 Fertilizers, improved seeds, gypsum and insecticides are the main agricultural inputs being provided by us. We supply these agricultural inputs mainly through its branches, Agrico Krishi Seva Kendra, Kray-Vikray Sahkari Samiti.

And village service is done to the farmers through cooperative societies.

Pesticides:

In order to increase the productivity of crops, farmers need good insecticidal medicines to protect them from insects and diseases along with good seeds and fertilizers. Agrico provides good quality insecticides to farmers through cooperatives Tried to make available by ‘Agrico’ on March 31, 2021, the amount 13,31,35,222/- Insecticidal medicines worth

Fertilizer Business:

IFFCO and IPL by ‘Agrico’ to supply the demand of fertilizers to its members and farmers on 31st March 2021. And tried to fulfill the needs of the farmers by purchasing DAP, Urea, SSP, Zinc from Rajfed. DAP by ‘Agrico’ on 31st March, 2021. 7494.40 MT, Urea 4764.82 MT, SSP 291.35 MT, Zinc 15.94 MT, and NPK. 263.30 MT, Urea Phosphate 1.53 MT, Sulfur Bentonite 5.18 MT, MoP. 52.60 MT, Calcium Nitrate 8.05 MT were sold.

Seed Business:

In order to increase the productivity of crops, where the use of fertilizers in balanced quantity and spraying of insecticides in proper quantity to protect against insects and diseases is important, the importance of good seeds in increasing productivity cannot be denied. The fruit of all the hard work of the farmer depends on the quality of the seeds being sown by him in the field. Agrico tried to provide improved seeds to the farmers in the village through cooperative societies. ‘Agrico’ sold high-quality and certified seeds worth Rs.11,45,36,002/- on 31st March 2021.
